This is the first factory-made computer i have bought, having previously built my own desktop PCs from scratch. I had always been wary of the amount of pre-installed junk that manufacturers include on the hard drive, but this Acer laptop was an absolute delight to work with. It was slick and responsive straight out of the box, and was very simple to setup using the on-screen prompts when first turned on. It is also stealthily quiet, and even after a battery-powered 4 hours on my lap, the casing was still at normal room temperature, probably due to the sensible placement of the cooling fan on the top rather than the side. The graphics are crisp, it has all the connections the average user will ever need and the whole design exudes quality. This is a great laptop at a superb price.
