works like a charm! but the battery lasts from half an hour to an hour! way to short for a mobile device!

I've used alot of laptops and PCs and this one does stand out from the pile but like everybodys said the batter is unforgivable way to short, its not really a laptop, I only ever use it so I can sit in my living room and its always pluged in to the wall. But all faults aside its an amazing laptop, I'm typing this review on one now! It would get 10 out of 10 but because of the batter I give it 8, so if you want an unportable laptop like a smaller desktop go for this it is very good. Really pleased with my 1672LMi, but I'm can't believe how short the battery life is. I thought I had a duff battery but reading the other comments here made me realise I'm not alone!

awsomme notebook, batery life, with the brightness turned right down, can last no more than half an hour, but when plugged in, performance is astonishing when gaming and perfoming other demanding processes, 9/10 due to the battery life

Ive a problem with the power supply.When its plugged into the wall.It will suddenly go to the battery supply.Once it does this i have to shutdown an start up again for the adapter to kick back in.Very annoying!!! Not sure what the problem is.

Has anyone been able to fix the power problem with this great laptop, I found one place and they managed to fix it but the same thing is happening again.

had this acer aspire 1670 now for 2 years it keeps freezing and the screen is not very good i am looking to buy another laptop at the moment.
