Canon Bubblejet I250 4800dpi 12ppm 4 X 6 Usb Print Review
Canon Bubblejet I250 4800dpi 12ppm 4 X 6 Usb Print
First of all I have to admit that I am a bit of a fan of canon printers,I have had lexmark and epson before and they have let me down in either ink cost, print quality, or a bit of both.
Anyway heres the good points:
Can take many paper types including a4, a5 etc.
The ink is possibly the cheapest that I have seen for a good quality printer. around £2.50 each from ebuyer.
This printer can take two types of ink, ones designed for the s200 range and one designed for the i200 ranges.
Came with correct plug etc.
Drivers were installed nicely from CD, (but download new ones from the internet, these were released for reasons, especially if you encounter problems)
The printer is fast in high quality mode, which is unusual for a budget printer.
Quality is much better than the s200x (twice as good even).
The design is nice, seems sturdy and well made.
But now a couple of bad points:
There is no print tray, which doesn't bother me as the paper falls onto my shelf, (the model up from this has the print tray if your interested).
the paper loading tray is attatched and non removable, (please don't take this as much as a bad point but more of a questionable point)
As with most printers no USB lead, (not a problem just an extra 70p to spend on ebuyer)
This has to be a five star printer, when price is compared to print qality and value of the product this is absolutely amasing.
If its in your price range buy it, if you've got more to spend you could be wasting valuable money.
Excellent for pictures (not too heavy just general picture printing...)
and great for text documents (especially in draft mode, sooo fast and hardly uses any ink)
