I bought my Dell Latitude D820 as a replacement for my desktop the widescreen display is one of the best that I have seen. I have ditched the supplied pre-installed copy of windows XP and installed linux which works well. All the hardware in the Latitude 820 was detected and functions correctly. The Latitude 820 has a solid feel, much better build quality that some older dells that I have seen. So far I have no problems with the D820, and it is much better value than notebooks with the same spec from HP or Sony.

I purchased a Dell Latitude D820 from http://www.europc.co.uk and I'm delighted with it. I need high end graphics and a wide aspect screen, and the D820 provides that and more.
