Epox 8RGMI SKT A Nforce 8X AGP MATX DDR 133ATA Review

Epox 8RGMI SKT A Nforce 8X AGP MATX DDR 133ATA

Offering the full performance of the NForce 2 chipset and graphical solution in the mATX format to enable users to have performance, upgradeability and lower unit costs, the EP-8RGMI/+ family of mainboards grows upon the success of the already hugely popular 8RDA and 8RGA series of mainboards. Has all of the overclocking functionality of the EP-8RDA+ or EP-8RGA+ mainboards including VDD Adjust.

A good board for upgrading a retail/brand name 'micro-ATX' PC. If you have a case that will take a ATX size mobo then it probably makes sense to opt for one with more PCI slots on it.

This board comes with good documentation, and all necessary cables. PC-Cillin 2002 and Norton Ghost 7 included on driver CD.

On-board graphics perform well, although we use it with a separate card. Note that using an add-on card disables the two on-board ports. Good overclocking option in BIOS.

We are using this board with an AMD Athlon XP 2000+ (Thoroughbred 'B') and 256Mb Infineon PC2700 RAM. No major problems so far:)
