Professional quality scanner

Pros: Professional quality. Colours are bright and wide ranging. Digital ICE technology removes hair and dust artefacts on the fly. Lots of bundled software including Photoshop Elements 2, Silverfast SE etc. Cons: The scanner is big and heavy. It doesn't come with a firewire cable. The Epson Scanner software is basic for a scanner of this type (use SilverFast)and can crash under stress (on Mac OS X). In conclusion,a great scanner; a few gripes but not about the all important output.
