I have had this camera for all of about an hour now, and I have to say from what I have seen so far I am impressed. Software installed without a problem, manual is easy to understand, as is the short "getting started" tutorial on the software CD. I purchased a 256Mb MMC to go with the camera, as the internal memory is a bit small to be useful unless you are always near your PC. Pictures are clear and detailed in all the modes I have tried so far, and the optical zoom and auto focus functions work well. When taking video the frame rate on VGA mode is too low to replace a proper digital video camera , but the results on low res video capture are very good when veiwed in a window on your computer. The sound is pretty good too for what is essentially a stills camera. Overall a very good camera, simple to use, its got to be 8/10.

The KODAK EASYSHARE CX7530 is an excellent camera at an excellent price. Very easy to use with clear instructions. The software almost installs itself! There are lots of functions to play with to enable you to get that picture with the 'WOW' factor. As in previous reviews,this camera is a bit on the hungry side where batteries are concerned so it's best to use the built in viewfinder rather than the LCD screen for taking pictures. The CX7530 works out of the box with mac osx and iphoto.
