It's cheap and it works. The USB lead is only about a metre long and is hard wired into the camera. I'd bought a 5m USB cable(quick find 48132) - couldn't use it. In the end I cut off the square plug from the 5m cable and the usb plug from the camera cable (leaving the choke) and soldered things together and it worked OK. Don't think the guarantee is still valid though!
Mfr recommmends installing the software before plugging in the camera: I did it the other way round but it nonetheless installed with no problems.

The Labtec USB webcam is great! However I recently bought a new computor and can't find the installation CD for the camera, does anyone know if you can install it over the internet?
