At the back of the N95 8GB, the fiddly camera cover is gone. The advantage of not having a cover is that you no longer have to worry around the camera accidentally being activated in your pocket, which regularly happened on the original N95.A minor however noteworthy feature is the N95 8GB's black casing. It is superb how a change of colour can bring out a telephone's sexy side and I think Nokia may have sold even more original N95s if it had come in black.however the N95 8GB's greatest improvement over its predecessor is, obviously, the 8GB of on-board storage for all your music and photos; or any other data you want to tote around. It is 'most things', as the N95 adverts suggest, however It is also rather a big phone. At first I thought the double slider was a cool feature, however It is worn off now and I would prefer not to have it.When You are pulling it in and out of your pocket the slider mechanism can move up and down, activating the telephone.Similar to the iPhone, the 8GB of on-board memory is non-expandable, which has its limitations. The bigger display, 8GB memory and black casing are so seductive, I were sad to see it go back to Nokia. It is still expensive, however, and It is still really rather big.dell
There is now a driver for mac os x available to download free from the nokia website. You can download the nokia N95 plug-in for Apples iSync 2.4 from Nokia's web page http://europe.nokia.com/mac/isync/ The nokia N95 is a great little phone much better than the apple iphone in my opinion. I would not switch from orange to O2 just to get an iphone. O2 coverage is poor where i live in mid-wales.Paul
