'We initially had a few problems integrating protx with our shopping cart software (OScommerce). Protx technical support eventually sorted it out for us. We have been using protx for about 8 months now without problem, the administration area on the protx website is much more flexible than Worldpay(who we previously used for a couple of years). Protx allows us to make additional charges to a customers card when they phone up to ammend an order, this was not possible with worldpay select junior. During the initial transfer from Worldpay to Protx I did wonder if we were doing the right thing, especially with the initial installation problems. After using the service for some time and looking at the money we have saved i am confident that we have done the right thing. 10/10 for Protx!'nicky_edwards
I believe that this system would probably work well when it is all set up. However, I have been atempting to use the c# Integration kit (which apparently they outsourced the development of) There are huge problems with this kit and the so-called 'support' guy at Protx has basically washed his hands of the issue. They have admitted it is an error with their DLL but here is a quote from his 'support' email: "I have not seen this error before. I'm afraid I can only suggest that you look to the .net forums for advice regarding this error." This has been going on for a few weeks so their claim of "Responding to Support emails within 24hrs" obviously refers to the automated reply you get when you send them an email. This is SUPPORT? WTF? Why is not an option to rate them at 0?Pete
Suffered the same issues as Pete. Protx upgrade has caused their system to fail on our website. Their response is that our shopping cart company should have written new software to cope with their upgrade and therefore it's nothing to do with them. It's 15 days now since we've been online (what's the point of spending money advertising if customers are going to get frustrated because they can't pay). Any responses from Protx take three days at least and are never,but never,helpful. Steer clear. 0 of of 10 for ProtxLorraine
