Quicken has gone from great in the 90's to terrible for the past few years. The competition has degifinetly overtaken Quicken, and the new version of MS Money is much better. In Quicken 2004, there are NO OPTIONS for register colors - just all white. There are NO program colour schemes.There is advertising at bottom of the main Quicken windows that cannot be removed. While using splits, the error of not being able to open the category list, that appeared in the 2003 version, has not been fixed in 2004!
If your using Quicken, stick with 2003, I really see no reason to upgrade.
