I have had my Samsung E800 for 3 months now and the only bad thing I have got to say about this phone is the fact that the battery does not last a long time. (around 2 days) But to me this isn't a problem as I just charge the phone on a night and it lasts the day. Although I know this is not convenient for some people. But the charger is very light weight unlike other chargers I know of which is good for travelling.
The looks of the phone are excellent in my eyes. It’s small, light, a stylish shape and a modern colour. I have found that other silver phones that I have owned have scratched easy. There are no scratches on the phone just yet, and as a clumsy person I have dropped the phone a fair few times. The novelty of it having a slide up flap still hasn’t worn off yet which I am surprised at as I get bored easy.
The Functions On the phone are great including too great games. The Ringtones could be spiced up a bit as there pretty boring but that’s not a problem these days that’s fun of having a modern phone to be able to personalize yourself. I Like the fact of been able to put my photos to my telephone numbers so that it shows when that person is calling. The camera on the phone is great with top quality pictures and functions to spice up your photos are great. The Flash on the camera is great for on dark nights far better than using night mode on most phones.
This is the first time I have steered away from using Nokias and thought it would take ages to learn how to use the phone but it was very straight forward. So I think from now on if I don’t have any problems in the future with the Samsungs I might just stick to them.

had the phone unblocked to use o2 sim now its saying limited service can't recieve any calls or make any can anyone help? Kaz
Don't buy the phone, especially if you're with O2 because when you eventually send it back to get it fixed they don't fix it. The phone won't connect you to answer calls and has problems with reception when calling and sending texts. The problems occur after about 3 months of having the phone so wait till then before you give a good review. Many other people have the same problem amy
do not buy. absolute nightmare. cuts off, continually drops out of signal. don not buy with o2.

I got this phone a few days and wondering if anyone could help, when u delete messages or ringtones or photos or send a message u get this informaton box that automatically appears and makes a wee tone can you get this off

bought one for my daughter, been great until 4 months old. The display sometimes completely inverts, and/or overlays the new display without clearing the old one, so even if you can read upside down you can't make sense of it... andrew pain
my E800 don't let me dial out with my t - mobile chip in there or with my o2 chip. what do i do? can anyone help me please? raj

this phone is pants on o2, constant limited service and drops calls. when you do get signal it decides to cut out when dialing and endless probs sending messages.
wouldnt advise anyone buying this rubbish! sarah

after a few months have already had it repaired once because it kept turning off, now a few buttons have stopped working which makes it basically useless, never has any signal and doesnt answer calls just tells me iv missed them when i try pick up. absolute shit. Ele
on vodafone, also have the problem of it cutting out when I attempt to send SMS or dial/take calls. Not impressed. Looks cool but not practical! claire

This fone was brilliant until it reached 5 months old now total crap, turns its self off, rejects calls, sticks on one screen, won't send texts only when it wants to, going to vodafone moro and they can replace it! stacey_
I have also had lots of trouble with the E800, After abotu 7 months of use, screen inverts and goes wierd colours happens many times per day ,and requires multiple battery removes to reset the display. no other problems untill display problem. Paul

i loved it @ 1st & it had many admirers but wouldn't recommend it @ all. same problems as mentioned many times before. turns itself off, turns itself on. turns itself off silent mode. unable to send sms. rejects calls. screen inverts & turns a strange colour. sometimes rusty, sometimes green. before i turned my phone off & it would be okay when i turned it back on. now its happening several times a day. taking it back 2mara, just hope i get more satisfaction than the rest of u did. orla

I was very happy with the phone until last week the screen was inverted, upsidedown and mirrored and it doesn't come back to normal. What the.. Anybody had a solution other than sending it for repair? Peter
I had a new E800 and after few months the softkey and green phone buttons are dead. I can not get into the menu nor can I answer incoming calls. The phone is now a useless BRICK. ace
I'm convinced my e800 is a dud or something! it freezes and reboots as it pleases and switches itself off too!
Ringtones are sooo lame!

Was a good phone at first but it started switching its self off and endlessly vibrating even when it was off, this problem happened about 4 months after I bought it. I sent it back for repair which solved the problem but now just two months later the screen keeps going white and overlapping its self, its pretty useless, seriously considering chucking it in the bin! I believe the screen problem is a common problem with this phone and is caused by the small flexi cable which connects the front of the phone to the base allowing it to slide.

really liked it when i first bought it on holiday, not long ago though someone tryed to rob it so my frined rang up o2 and they blocked it off but it got it back and it says limited service and i cant recieve/send txs make/recieve calls. tryed ringing o2 they said my handset was blocked off and they cant do anything! >< But even before it stopped working my phone had problems recieving msgs. :( amy
Had the same problems as others, though not so frequently - kept turning itself off and rebooting every now and then. Only had it 6 months and the display's totally knackered. Lots of coloured dots and nothing else. Tried turning it off and back on but to no avail. Sent off to be repaired, how it comes back ok and fixed!! Had no problems with it really until now so not impressed. Claire
I've had my share of phones and this is undoubedly the worst phone i have ever come across!! It's great for a few months, small, stylish, great picture quality and then it started turning itself off sometimes back on again but most of the time just stayed off, the colour on the screen atarted to run, most messages wouldn't send and the rare time that they did the reciever got a "message needs a reply" notice that stopped them reading the message, calls were cut off, reception bars went from full to nothing when i was standing in one place!! What is the point of having a phone that won't let you contact anyone?? So i sent it back to O2!! they had it a week and sent it back!! they had done absolutely nothing except delete everything i had ever put into the phone, so i sent it back again!! this time they had it for 6 weeks, when it came back they hadn't done anthing!!! at all!!! not even restored the factory settings!!! so the third time they were told i don't want it fixed, i want a new phone!!! so i got it!!! and guess what happened?? no need to guess really, new phone had all the same problems as the last one, its now gotten to the point where i can't slide the phone down at all because the screen goes bright white and the phone won't turn off to fix it!!! my contract it up soon, i can't wait to take a hammer to the horrible little thing and go back to a nokia!!! samsung need to seriously review their technology as well as their customer relations, so many complaints on this phone is no coincidence, they've lost my custom and from the comments on the net they've lost loads more too!!!! Don't buy the hateful little phone, it WILL mess up sooner or later!!! sarah

crashed and restarted without even askin me...for GOD sake i m the owner of it must have asked me :P anyways i love its design very cool and pics are good Sunny
