Worldpay will complete a risk assessment, they will then decide how long to withhold payment after an order has been placed online, usually this is 28 days, but we have found that for high fraud risk items(consumer electronics etc) they will withold payment for up to 8 weeks. Payment is by bank transfer into your business bank account. This transfer usually takes 4 working days, if it has been made just before a weekend you can end up waiting 9 weeks for your money, which obviously causes huge cashflow problems.

Debrorah, I think your comment is about a client of Worldpay and not the worldpay service, contact your card issuer and arrange a chargeback.

'Worldpay are useless, I would advice anyone to switch to another provider, even paypal are better. Worldpay hold your money for a minimum of 4 weeks. We have had lots of problems with chargebacks and worldpay seem reluctant to help us even when we know that a customer has received goods and is claiming that they havent. We now use protx and we are much happier with protx than worldpay. The only reason you should use Worldpay is if you can't get a merchant account and you need to accept payments from countries that cant use paypal.'

Ms. Bailey is completely wrong. I have ordered hundreds of items from the turkish emporium and their service is excellent.
