I set up the Zoom X5V in minutes in replace of my standard BT unit. I use it for online gaming with my mate so we can all chat free with VoIP in a conference at the same time as gaming. Firewall is easy to change, It’s also a great router and I have a Web and Mail server running behind it with no troubles. Works well for online gaming and FREE phone calls, what more can you ask for?ricki_baynes

Firewall is easy to change, It’s also a great router and I have a Web and Mail server running behind it with no troubles. Star buy for online gaming and FREE calls. The Zoom X5V works straight out of the box no messing about. The Zoom router/modem is so easy to set-up. Wthin seconds I was up and running. A quick check by dialling #123 confirmed all was well and it reported my number by a voice message (neat idea). I then plugged my DECT base station into the back and now I have the choice of PSTN or VoIP calls from any phone in the house. Even my wife is using VoIP and she will not touch a PC. All she knows is the # key means a cheap call to her mother in the USA. I think everyone should have one of these then all calls would be free!! But until then I will use this for every call and hopefully save a fortune. All in all a great product.marcus_h
