'I've been looking for an alternative to Urchin/Google Anaytics and so far IwebStats is the closest remotely hosted stats solution that I have found. Iwebstats lacks a lot of features available in Urchin, but the only other package that comes close to Urchin is webtrends. I prefer the remotely hosted stats solutions like Google Analytics, I just dont want Google to have so much information about my business. Iwebstats have a free trial so you can check out their web analytics service free for 15 days with no obligation, no credit card required to sign up, and no limit to the number of websites that you can monitor. Any suggestions for other remotely hosted website analysis would be much appreciated.'marcus
Google is definitely the "feature king", but I never use most of that stuff. What I don't like is the fact that I use Google for advertising (AdWords) and I really don't want my ad provider to be able to see how much I'm making as a result of my ads. It kind of eliminates the bargaining power, you know? Iwebtrack just did a big upgrade a couple of days ago and introduced some new features and reports.Russ
