With 802.11g support, wireless LAN users can connect at speeds up to 54 Mbps and at distances up to 100 meters (328 feet)-almost five times the speed of existing 802.11b wireless products. And the 3Com 11g Gateway is backward-compatible with 802.11b wireless clients, preserving existing wireless network investments. Supporting up to 253 (128 wireless) users, the 11g Gateway is designed for small but growing offices, branch offices, and home offices. And because it is Wi-Fi certified, the gateway works with other Wi-Fi compatible equipment.
