this cam has a pentac lense and workd very well. i found acer uk support to be top rating, they are quick to email back any queries and were willing to replace teh camera when it would not connect to my PC *found out i mis configured the front usb leads so no need. at this price fir 8 megapixels for in effect a pentax camera is brilliant. the lcd screen is comparable to sony and the camera sofware is an ease to use. buy buy buy.
