I think that you are paying for the Chubb brand name when you buy a Chubb safe. Chubb and Sentry Safes spend a lot of money on promoting their products, if you shop around you will find better safes for less money. I don't mean buy the cheapest safe that you can find because you can probably open one of those with a tin opener!! But do look at the other safes available from lesser known manufacturers.
