The build quality of the inspiron 6000 is good, a vast improvement on older Inspiron models. Keyboard is also nice, not the best laptop keyboard I have used, but nice. My 1.6 Ghz processor runs pretty cool and there isn't much fan noise. The Inspirons graphics speed is acceptable for everyday business use and the display is crisp, battery life is better than my last Dell.

'I have had my dell 6000 for 5 months and im very pleased with it, Dell get a lot of bad reviews but its just because of the amount of computers that they sell. The people who are happy with the product / service they get from dell should shout about it!'

'Dell have made their name and a great deal of money. It was all going too well, wasn't it? Everyone was getting happy. Then they go fix what wasn't broken, and it has all been spoiled. Dell have infamously poor after sales service now that they have subbed it out. Like anything these days: everything is OK until it isn't.'

'So far so good, we have 20 at work. Look a bit tacky though.'

Dell rip you right off. You're guaranteed the battery will die soon and will be charged at least £300 to get it fixed.
