You get HP Image Zone for organizing, editing, sharing, printing, protecting, and storing photos and video clips.
The zd7000 notebook PCs feature NVIDIA GeForce 4 440 Go and GeForce FX Go 5600 GPU with 8X AGP (up to 128MB dedicated video memory) for high-performance graphics and special effects.
Theres plenty of scope for memory expansion, all pavilions can accomodate 2GB or RAM.
The zd7000 supports the most frequently used ports, some that are often ommitted in more expensive notebooks: four for USB 2.0, one for FireWire (IEEE 1394), one for FIR (Fast Infrared), and one for S-Video TV out, plus you get a 5-in-1 digital media card reader.
The new Pavilion notebooks are obviosly aimed at the consumer market range from £699 to £1,699 and are based on P4 chips and 64MB graphics cards from ATI or, at the top end, 128MB cards from NVIDIA. They could also be considered by anyone starting a business on a tight budget.
