After losing a days trading when Protx upgraded their payment processing system we decided to look for a backup card processing provider.
We have been trialing nochex on our online store for 2 weeks now. In that time they have disabled our account twice without warning. Customers alerted us to the problem but by that time we had already wasted a substantial amount in PPC advertising costs.
It is doubtful that we will continue to use Nochex because apart from the disabled account issue, they have decided to withhold £10000 of our cash which is roughly 30% of the transactions that we have processed with them in the last 2 weeks.
This is unacceptable to us and will cause our business substantial cash flow problems. I would not recommend nochex as even a backup payment provider for all but the smallest of online businesses.
