'peter davis' yes i'm having trouble with the slider, i think i dropped my phone, now when i look down the back , i see one of the little metal bars, similar to a paper clip is out of place. Now it clicks and doesn't close fully. Anyone have any advice how to open it up so i can fix it ? Thanks

I love the D600 but i have two problems with it! mine wont set up to send pic messages and it also wont go onto the internet at all but it still takes the money off me!! any ideas? email me on gillz1@hotmail.co.uk cheers x

It's a great phone but when the battery goes dead it vibrates really loud. It won't stop unless you put the charger in or you take the battery out. Can any one help??

'D600 imho is rubbish. upgraded from the nokia 6230...saying 'upgraded' in the broadest possible sense of the word. D600 with memory card installed, mp3's to be used as ringtones must stay on phone memory. phone cannot ring AND vibrate at the same time, one or the other. when the phone is connected to the pc, the software doesnt recgnise the installed memory card. therefore, files of 65meg maximum only can be transferred to the phone. these things may seem like nothing but i also think the camera is rubbish. slide action has also gone 'tight' Seriously considering taking the d600 back to swap it for the nokia 6230i, a much better phone in my honest opinion.'

I work in a phone shop and the slider action does get stiffer on the Samsung D500 and Samsung D600. It should never be a problem to open the phone though. We probably sell more D600's than any other phone at the moment, they are really nice phones and I wouldnt be put off by the risk of problems with the sliding action, we havent had to send any back to samsung for repair yet.

i've had my samsung d600 for about 3 months now, but i noticed recently noticed a problem with the d600's slider which has stopped opening smoothly. I can still slide the d600 open but its starting to really annoy me. Every day it gets harder to prise the d600 apart. T-mobile have offered to send it back to samsung for a repair but I dont want to be without a phone for a month. Anyone else having problems with the slider on their samsung? Apart from the slider issue, the samsung d600 is a really good phone, and I really don't want to lose it for a month for a repair.
