Apple's Power Mac G5 is a superb 64-bit desktop system it looks good and performs better, Im sure lots of people will by this latest Apple computer on looks alone. When they get it home they won't be disappointed.The Apple Power PC G5 comes in a 20" high anodized aluminum case, and the G5 is larger and heavier than its predecessors.
Connectivity has been upgraded, so the Apple G5 noew has three USB 2.0 ports and two FireWire 800 ports, one of each on the front of the case for easy access). There is also a slower FireWire 400 port on the back of the G5's case.
The rear panel contains optical digital audio in and out ports and analog audio in and out jacks, while the front has a convenient headphone minijack. Unfortunately, the G5 also ships with the standard unremarkable keyboard and one-button mouse, which look and feel more out of date with each main system update.

This Latest Appledesktop comes with an external AirPort Extreme antenna as standard, don't bother shelling out on the expensive Apple base station, it works fine with my cheapo wireless Dlink router, which is half the price of the official Apple unit. Bluetooth is also included as standard on the G5 desktop.
Apple has produced as excellent machine in its Power Mac line, taking Apple users into high-performance computing.
