I highly recommended this Fujitsu Siemens Amilo D 7830 Notebook.

Fujitsu package in with an impressive bundle of software, including: MS Works Suit 2003, Word, Encarta Encyclopedia, Piture It Photo, MS Money, MS Autoroute, Adobe Photoshop Elements, WinDVD 4.0, Nero 5, Noman Anti-virus (3 months subscription) and a Windows XP Home with SP1 recovery disc.

The Fujitsu Siemens Amilo D 7830 laptop has everything you'd want, good design, well built, pretty quiet, fast.

I've watched a DVD on it and the quality is good. The Mobility 9000 pushes out 7,452 2001SE 3D marks, and I've played Call Of Duty on it for about 30 mins with no problems.

The internal V92 modem is a flyer. I get a 41kbps conenction with it, compared to about 34kbps with the hardware modem in my current rig.

No floppy drive, but not a lot comes with one of them now, tons of USB ports etc. For the price with the 15' screen and 40Gb HDD etc I think it's great value for money.

I purchased the Fujitsu Siemens Amilo D 7830 Notebook purposefully for use on 3D gaming mostly.

After setting up all relevant setings the gameplay quality is amazing. smooth, excellent screen resolutions and colours.

I reccomend this to anyone looking for 3D gaming experience on laptop as ati graphics are providing the perfect setup forthis 3D gaming adventure.

for use as normal it is very reliable, fast smooth notebook. no hiccups have dettered me from wanting to return the product.

This Fujitsu Amilio is a good buy if you ask me and excellent price for the quality.

It is the worst laptop ever!! It has desktop components such RAM & processor, it over heats very fast, battery life is nothing and dies within 1 min only!! I replaced the main board twice.

I have found this to be an exceptionally poor laptop too - noisy fan, awful battery life, got to the point couldnt be used as a laptop as it would shut down if the mains power taken from it, it starts up slowly, it gets confused with too many applications open and for the money I would definately go elsewhere. Wouldnt buy a fujitusu-siemans ever again, it went back 4 times in first year!
